Over 30 years of milling and packing rice
Shabab El Gharbia Rice Mill is a rice mill in Tanta, Gharbia — in the heart of Egypt's Nile Delta rice belt. We have milled and packed Egyptian rice for over 30 years under the management of Eng. Roshdy Ibrahim El-Kholy.
We supply wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets and restaurants across every Egyptian governorate, recently exported to Kuwait, and are ready for the rest of the GCC.
Our complete line covers cleaning, hulling, whitening, Sortex optical sorting, steam treatment and packing. We were Egypt's first rice mill registered on the National Food Safety Authority White List.

Questions buyers ask
Where is the rice mill located?
Shabab El Gharbia Rice Mill is on Berma Road in Tilbant Qaysar, Tanta, Gharbia Governorate, Egypt — in the Nile Delta rice belt.
Do you sell rice wholesale?
Yes. We are the mill itself and sell wholesale directly to traders, distributors and food-service buyers, with no middleman.
What is the difference between your rice grades?
Mainly the broken-grain ratio and grain shape: Al Shabab 3% broken medium grain, El Kholy 5%, El Mohandes long grain 8%, and El Rashidy 10%. Lower broken ratio means more whole grains and a higher grade.
What does Sortex-sorted rice mean?
Sortex is an optical sorting machine that inspects every grain and rejects broken or discolored grains and foreign matter, so the rice comes out white, clean and uniform.
Do you export Egyptian rice to the Gulf?
Yes. We recently exported to Kuwait and are ready to supply importers across the GCC. Message our export team on WhatsApp for specifications, certificates and volumes.
Why aren't prices listed?
Rice prices move often. Send us the grade and quantity on WhatsApp and we'll reply with today's price.
